This seminar gives the absolute predictions from the Bible that many from every tribe, language, people and nation will come to Christ and join with us around the throne of the Lamb. It also gives statistics and stories about progress and how far we have to go.
In the midst of an emerging “iCulture” that is literally saturated with noise, there are a growing number of men and women who are desperate to discern the still, small voice, or “gentle whisper” of God (cf. 1 Kings 19:12). They are eager to distinguish God’s voice from the multitude of competing cultural voices that constantly clamor for their attention, and they are increasingly dissatisfied with the poor substitutes so commonly offered by organized religion. Is there a better way?
Thursday 4pm Seminar Options
Based on 2 Corinthians 5:14-15 this seminar presents the most radical view of Christ's atonement anywhere in the Bible. It rejects the current belief that "I am my own person and make my own choices" and teaches "Christ died for me; I live for him." It says, I'm a dead person, and the only life I have is in Christ--and it's the best!
This seminar will look at contextual or global theologies, especially from Asia, Africa and Latin America. The hope is to share about the value in us in America learning from how the rest of the world understands the greatness of our God and highlight a few of those voices.

Intergenerational Work and Worship Places: Gen Y's Place in the World and How to Bridge the Generation Gaps
Schools, homes, churches, and workplaces are comprised of individuals from the silent generation, baby boomers, gen x'ers, gen y members, and now, next gens. It is difficult to get the needs of all groups met. This workshop will define the generational markers for each group with special emphasis placed on what gen y contributes to the mix. Ideas will be shared about gen y'ers can communicate more effectively with those of other generations and how they can harness their desire to change the world to really do so.

Pornography: What’s the big deal and how can we help friends in a practical way?
The facts and fiction about pornography are so intertwined it can get really confusing. On the one hand, we are told that pornography is a victimless crime; on the other hand we see it portrayed as the root cause of sexual deviance. Victims include porn users; secondary victims include friends and families of addicts, in addition to the victim on the screen. How does a follower of Christ think about this issue? This workshop will address these questions and provide practical steps to help a friend struggling with porn.
