The Friends Summit 2010 conference is going to be awesome. The first ever national gathering of Evangelical Friends Church young adults. You are not going to want to miss this! 

 But…we have to make sure everyone knows about it! We gotta get the “word out on the streets” about Summit 2010. The target age range of Summit 2010 is 16-25 and they can be a particularly challenging group to track down. That’s where the “Street Team” comes in. The “Street Team is a team of energetic young adults committed to enthusiastically promoting the Summit in your area Friends Churches and on your campuses!

So…will you help spread the word? Registration for the Street Team closed October 1st but you can still help. See bottom of this page details.

What are the requirements to serving on the “Street Team”?

1. Street Team members are persons between ages 16-25 (on January 1, 2011) who have registered for the Street Team by October 1.
2. Commit to attending Summit 2010! Registration by November 15th to avoid a late fee. No registrations accepted after December 1st.
3. Follow Summit 2010 on facebook.
4. Commit to doing everything you can to get the word out about the Summit and get others registered as well. We’ll help you with ideas for this but you have to be faithful to follow through.
5. Pray for the Summit experience on a regular basis leading up to December 28^th.
6. START THE SUMMIT CONVERSATION EARLY Read Dan Kimball’s book They Like Jesus But Not the Church before the Summit and get the study guide, gather a group and follow the study schedule…and join the twitter conversation beginning on November 14. Check out his blog at www.dankimball.com.

What are the perks of being on the “Street Team”?

You mean there’s perks!? You bet!

1. Free t-shirt! You can start wearing proudly your Friends Summit 2010 t-shirt when you are accepted as a Street Team member! We’ll send it to you in the mail as soon as they are printed the first week of October in our street team custom color.
2. Free Gifts! When people register for the Summit they will be asked who told them about the conference.
   If 8 young adults (16-25) give you credit upon registering for the Summit then you will be rewarded an Exclusive Backstage Pass at Summit 2010. More details will be announced as they develop.
   If 18 young adults (16-25) give you credit upon registering for the Summit, you’ll be rewarded with your choice of either an IPOD Touch or $100 off your Summit registration.
   Street Team members will be contacted after Summit 2010 registration closes December 1 concerning rewards earned.
3. Best of all, you get a first-hand seat at mobilizing the church to attend this life-changing experience. We hope every Summit attendee will come loving the event and leave loving the Church! The Summit could very well be an important milestone in your life and in the emerging generation of the Evangelical Friends Church movement.

How can I join today?

Registration for the Street Team closed October 1st. Thanks to the 52 persons who registered for the Street Team. While registraton for the Street Team is now officially closed, we still need everyone's help getting the word out about the Summit! Even if you are not officially on the Street Team, If 8 young adults (16-25) give you credit upon registering for the Summit then you will be rewarded an Exclusive Backstage Pass. If 18 young adults (16-25) give you credit upon registering for the Summit, you’ll be rewarded with your choice of either an IPOD Touch or $100 off your Summit registration.
